VERDE FRANCESCO / MARITACA GRANITE

Verde Francesco Maritaca granite is a greenish-grey gneiss with reddish-brown clouds. Internationally, this stone may be claimed as granite, but in the region where the European Standard is applied, this stone must be classified as gneiss. Swatch samples of Verde Maritaca Classico granite must be approved for large projects in order to ensure that the blocks are all extracted from the same quarry face for matching purposes. The veining and colour of this granite vary greatly, and a small sample may not be representative of the entire slab.
