How do I measure my kitchen for a new worktop?
We recommend professional templating for the most accurate fit. However, for an initial quote, you can provide rough measurements of the length and width of your current surfaces, noting where sinks and hobs are located.
What is the typical lead time from order to installation?
Generally, installation occurs within 7 to 14 working days after the final templating has been completed, depending on the specific material availability and your location.
What is the difference between Quartz and Granite?
Granite is a 100% natural stone that requires periodic sealing, while Quartz is an engineered stone made from crushed quartz and resin, making it non-porous and virtually maintenance-free.
Do you offer a warranty on your stone products?
Yes, all our stone worktops come with a manufacturer's warranty against defects. The duration varies by material, typically ranging from 10 to 25 years.
Can I place hot pans directly on the worktop surface?
While natural stones like Granite are heat-resistant, we always recommend using trivets or heat pads for all surfaces, especially Quartz, to prevent thermal shock or resin damage.
How should I maintain and clean my new worktops?
For daily cleaning, use a soft cloth with warm water and a mild, pH-neutral detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners, bleach, or acidic substances like lemon juice on natural stone surfaces.
